The cost to install a starter in a 2006 Nissan Sentra typically ranges from $300 to $600, depending on factors like labor rates and whether you choose an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or aftermarket part. Labor costs can vary significantly by location, with most shops charging between $100 and $150 per hour. Additionally, if you opt for a DIY approach, you could save on labor but still need to budget for the starter's price, which generally falls between $100 and $300.
About $360 at a shop and $480 at a Dealer. Parts and labor The starter cost $120-$140 from an auto parts store, if you install yourself. Dealer prices are usually 50-100% higher. It should take about an hour to install.
