on a 2006 impala it has step by step instruction, it all has to be done through your radio On my 2008 LT the info is on page 3-48 of the "Owner's Manual" & is done thru the Vehicle Information button...

Id say eBay or Amazon just got to make sure the number on the back of remote matches the car :-) and you should be able to program it through the stereo
