To set the fuel pump timing on a Mitsubishi Pajero 2.8, first, ensure the engine is at top dead center (TDC) on the compression stroke for cylinder one. Next, remove the fuel pump cover and align the timing marks on the pump with the marks on the engine. Adjust the pump's position until the marks are aligned, then secure the pump in place. Finally, recheck the timing to ensure it remains aligned after tightening.

Where is the fuel pump located on a 1986 Honda Accord DX?

This one is ez. Take the back of the back seat out and carpet from the truck. Just behind the lower back seat in the truck area, on the drivers side will be a cover that is sealed in with tar. remove the cover with a screw driver. below that will be the top of your fuel pump unit. Unplug the wires and remove the fuel line. Unbolt the flange bolts and carefully pull up the fuel pump unit out of the tank. Have a rag ready to plug the hole while you have the fuel pump assembly out. At the bottom of the assembly is your fuel pump. If your car is carberated, you will need a pump that has 28 lbs fuel pressure and if it is fuel injected, you will need a 60 lbs fuel pressure. You can buy just the fuel pump for this job. they have the whole assembly with pump but it probably will exceed the value of the car. Good luck
