In another post somebody mentioned that any water that makes it past the rubber seal should be able to drain away from the moon roof gutter down a tube in the door pillar. Haven't checked this myself but it sounds logical. If the tube becomes blocked the gutter will overflow and water will leak into the car. I have no idea how to unblock the tubes but I hope to find out soon because mine is leaking. Also check for dirt or grit on the rubber surround on the sliding roof.
