To fix the clutch on a 1997 Subaru Legacy Outback, first, ensure the vehicle is securely lifted and supported. Remove the transmission by disconnecting the drive shafts, shift linkage, and any electrical connections. Once the transmission is out, replace the clutch disc, pressure plate, and throw-out bearing. Reassemble the transmission and ensure proper alignment before reinstalling everything. Always consult a repair manual for detailed steps and torque specifications.
It should be.

You have not provided enough information for me to know what you are asking.
Sorry, but it won't. Subaru's changed their headlight shape every 3 years or so. They made a change around April 1997, so the one's before that are different from the ones after.
See your user manual, its great for help with all the basic maintenance
You can pull the motor or thetransmission, though the trans is easier. But if you need to ask you should probably take it to a shop.
It is in the fuse box under the hood (at least for the 1997 Subaru Legacy) Also for my 2007 Outback so you can assume that it is in the same place on most, if not all, modern Subarus.
