So, while it's not an interference engine, remember that you'll lose ALL power... power brakes and steering and you'll have to coast, hopefully safely, to a stop with really hard steering (like an OLD truck).
PS I have the same year/model and I'm just about to put in a new timing belt (and water pump)... the first... after 177,000 miles... not bragging... just never got around to it!
