You should be able to see a hose from the throttle body to the rocker cover. The hose may be big enough to completely cover the PCV valve so you might not be able to see it. Pull the hose out of the rubber grommet in the rocker cover. You should be able to see the PCV valve once you pull it from the rocker cover.
No, it can not.
either the hose is split or the resivoir is cracked either the hose is split or the resivoir is cracked
What does the idle do? By "injection cover" do you mean air cleaner? That would make me think you're talking about a breather hose (AKA, crankcase gas recirculation hose) Those hoses sometimes also involve a filter and/or PCV valve. If the idle fluctuates or is higher than it was or than it should be, you might have created an air intake leak. (only if the hose you replaced is in between the air mass meter and the engine.) More answers might help: Is this an automatic? What size engine?
follow the top radiator hose to the engine. it should be under the cover where the hose attaches to the motor. follow the hose on top the raditor , it will lead you to the thermostat
Common causes are a loose gas cap or a cracked hose between the fuel tank and engine.Common causes are a loose gas cap or a cracked hose between the fuel tank and engine.
Pull old hose off. Cut a new piece of hose to match length of old hose. Push on. DIAF.
The PCV valve is on top of the valve cover. Should be a hose connected to it.
Your Prizm may not have one. Check the valve cover or the intake valve cover on twin cam For a vacuum hose leading to the intake. The PCV should be installed in the cover with hose connected. If cover only has tubing permanently mounted then you vehicle has no PCV valve.
Its at the end of the LHS engine cover. You normally cannot see it in front of the engine. To access it, you need to identify the hose and then follow the hose by hand. Your hand should feel a hose clip which is connected to the PCV which in turn monted directly on the engine cover.
its a breather hose which helps to reculate sump preasure should replace it
