For most vehicles the valet/overide button/switch is located somewhere hidden underneath the stearing wheel area. It is usually hard to spot, but it is there somewhere.
In a 1989 Toyota Cressida, the valet switch is typically located in the glove compartment or near the driver's side under the dashboard. It is often a small toggle or push-button switch that allows you to disable the trunk release and some other functions for valet service. If you're having difficulty locating it, referring to the owner's manual can provide specific guidance.
In the da board
There's a (fuel door) button on the dash (toward the center), next to the trunk open button. But both these buttons are disabled if the valet switch in the glove box is depressed. See to that valet switch (button) first.
Depends on what is wrong. I'd guess, however, that the problem is that you have stuffed your glove compartment too full and inadvertently depressed the "valet switch" button. See Valet Switch in this forum.
Flip the valet switch next to the floorboard.
In a 2006 Hyundai Tiburon, the valet override button is typically located inside the glove compartment. To access it, open the glove compartment and look for a small button or switch that may be labeled for valet mode. This button allows you to disable the valet feature, giving you control over the vehicle's functions when valet parking. If you're unable to find it, refer to the owner's manual for specific instructions.
You will need to unplug the connector on the hood switch. That is how you can override on an Acura Vigor.
The factory security system does not have a valet switch.
It is usually under the dashboard on the driver's side, should be easy to find.
A 1992 LeSabre wouldn't have a valet switch
My Valet switch was installed after purchase so I put it where they suggested/where I wanted. Look on the bottom area of dashboard lower than the steering wheel or the left panel besides the drivers side floorboard.
hi there. im not sure what u mean , if u refer to the valet button, u can find it on the right hand side of the steering wheel next to the release fuel cap button. regards cr4zy_jaguar
