Does anyone know the Tenp contol numbers for the forward vents in a 1990 300 zx. When I try to decrease the temp on the contol panel it hould automaticly click over to the air-conditioner. But it doesn't. The front vent work properly but cold air doesn't come out. I have already replaced the air conditioner unit 3 years ago. It was working properly two weeks ago. All I just need the front vent contol numbers so the unit will automaticly change over to cool air.
Thanks Michael
ITS THE VACCUM ADVANCE WHEN YOU ACCELERATE THE VACCUM IS LEAKING WHEN YOU RESUME SPEED THE A/C REACTS NORMAL CHECK VACCUM HOSE LEAKS
Hi. I thought this may work. I have a 87 300zx and had a similar problem. In this year 300zx, the problem was on the vacuum lines, check the whole vacuum system for some air leaks on the hoses. My car had 3 open lines, I replaced those and the whole system is working again and stoped shutting hot air inside the vehicle trough the defrost vents. Hope this help.
It sounds like your air flow diverter is stuck on defrost. Basically it is a little door that diverts the air fom vent to defrost to feet. It could be either the heater control valve, or te temperature selecter cable is broke.
In the center dash console, beneath the middle A/C Vents, besides the Rear Window Defogger and above the A/C Control Panel.
Yes, septic tanks typically have vents to allow for proper ventilation and odor control.
Sounds like your heater core has a leak and the sweet smell is your coolant.
The air vents in a Bunsen burner control the amount of air entering the burner. By adjusting the air vents, you can control the flame produced by the burner, allowing you to achieve different types of flames for specific experiments or applications.
The 1999 Nissan Sentra has a blower resistor in the air vents. This mechanism regulates the amount of air entering the cabin.
The heater blower may not be working properly. Without the heater blower working, the air will not come through the vents.
If the climate control on a 2003 Trailblazer will not switch from feet to head vents, try changing it to defroster then back to head. The mode button on the dual climate control model can only be switched from face/feet to feet and then to defrost. The feet and head vents worked at the same time.
I believe the upper vents are for A/C only. The floor vents are for the Hot air. Test your ceiling controls by moving the knob from cold to hot, you should hear the air pass from upper vents to lower vents. Providing of course you have selected REAR from the front control panel.
Smoke could be coming from the vents of your car for a number of reasons. You may have an internal car fire.
