heater hoses. or could be the run off water from your A/C unit
Its more than likely your heater core.
fuel rail pipe split, lose, or damaged. Could be the fuel filter leaking too.
It's probably leaking from a bad intake manifold gasket. You could be leaking from the heater hose that comes out of the firewall very close to the manifold. They sometimes leak there and drip down on the manifold. If it drips on a coil, it can eventually ruin the coil. It happened to me.
There are a lot of places, but most often leaks are caused by a bad valve cover gasket. It might be just on the firewall side of the engine.
leaking what??
Your heater core, which is under the dash is supplied by coolant from the engine. If it is leaking, or the hoses to it are leaking, it could end up on your carpet. Also, if the drain for the A/C evaporator is clogged, you would have a similar result. This sometimes happens after getting a car undercoated.
Possibilities might include heater hoses, the heater core or a head gasket. It could also be from the AC condenser, which is pretty normal.
Your 2000 kia sportage would not accelerate and eventually went dead what could the problem be?
My 2000 gtp is leaking oil from the intake on the firewall side of the engine. If yours is the same then the supercharger and intake will need to be removed to repair. It also could be valve cover and/or oilpan gaskets. Hope this give an idea where to look and good luck. 00gpgtp
Worst case would be a freeze plug but most likely it is a heater hose or connector where it goes through the firewall. Good luck.
Your engine may have a leaking hose connection or a leaking gasket at the water outlet. It could also be a leaking hose.
It could be leaking from a number of places. Some could be a simple fix and others not so simple. Need more info as to where it is leaking.
