I just disconnected this device and the problem was solved. I no longer have an alarm (panic button though). I figured it was overkill to have an alarm with starter kill feature for a minivan. I don't think minivans are top on the theft rate lists. The only person it kept from driving the van was me. The alarm would go off for no reason (as well as when the battery went dead and was either recharged or replaced).
