When the green light around the "D" in the shift indicator starts blinking on a 1995 Honda Accord LX, it typically indicates a problem with the automatic transmission system. This could signal an issue such as a malfunction in the transmission itself, a problem with the transmission fluid, or an electrical issue related to the transmission control. It's advisable to consult the owner's manual and seek a professional mechanic's diagnosis to address the issue promptly.

Transmission error
The blinking green "D" on your 2003 Honda Element typically indicates an issue with the transmission, specifically related to the overdrive system. It can signal that the transmission is not able to properly engage overdrive or that there may be a problem with the transmission fluid. It's advisable to check the transmission fluid level and condition, and if the light persists, consult a mechanic for further diagnosis. Ignoring this warning could lead to more significant transmission issues.
