The valve seals keep oil from leaking into the firing chambers in the head. When you park your car (like overnight), a bit of oil more than likely enters one of the firing chambers (a couple of the valves may have been left on the open position when you shut off the engine), and a small couple of drops of oil is enough to create a pretty big cloud of blue tinged smoke.
Replacing the valve seals is quite difficult, as one may have to take off the cams and the valve springs/rockers and also needs special tools to keep the valves from dropping into the cylinder/etc.
Personally, if it only comes on in the morning after you left it off for a couple of hours, I wouldn't worry too much about it. If its like a Ford 150 engine, I believe its actually quite normal to loose some oil like this due to a defect in the engine. As long as you are not burning so much oil that you have to carry a can around.
It is caused by oil getting into the combustion chamber and burning off
Winds put surface water in motion in the direction they are blowing, just like when you blow on your coffee in the morning you cause ripples in the cup.
Ur exhaust....
Yep.
no.
can exhaust manifold leak cause you to burn oil
A customer's auto is producing blue exhaust. What could cause this
It needs to remain gas tight for the life of the vehicle. Any leakage from the exhaust system would cause the vehicle to fail an MOT test It will also affect the emissions that a vehicle emits A blowing exhaust is also a road traffic offence for which you could be prosicuted & fined.

Exhaust of an engine is a gas.
No, it will not cause smoke from the exhaust pipe. However the leaking oil can drip on the exhaust manifold where it will be burnt and smoke.
No, blowing wind can cause erosion but is not, of itself, a form of erosion.
