I know if you have an auto transmission v6 Mazda mx6 93. You can put the transmission fluid in a 1993 Mazda Mx6 v6 from where you check the dip of transmission fluid. It is located close to the battery and close to the fuel filter. Its cap is orange color. For the manual transmission, you have to look under neath of the car, there is a bolt for drain and a bolt for to fill. Look around it, you will see it.
the starter is near the driver's side front tire. there are 3 screws to take off which are very complicated. I ended up using a mechanic since he was able to find a cheaper starter for me anyways.
found it, it's under the manafold in the back Specify that you were looking for the automatic transmission starter because the Manual transmission has the starter right below the battery and air filter 15mm bolts btw
Bolts and holes are identical
You don't need to remove the bolt. The mounting bracket is slotted so that you only need to withdraw the bolt a small way and then pull the alternator and the bolt will come out through the slot.

To change the starter on a 1996 Mazda MX-6, first disconnect the negative battery terminal to ensure safety. Then, access the starter by removing any necessary components, such as the air intake or other obstructions. The starter relay on a 1988 Mazda MX-6 is typically located in the engine compartment fuse box. To access it, open the hood and find the fuse box; the starter relay is usually labeled on the cover or in the owner's manual. If you have trouble locating it, refer to the wiring diagrams or service manual specific to the vehicle for more detailed guidance.
