The serpentine belt routing for a 2002 Infiniti QX4 typically involves a path that loops around several pulleys: the crankshaft pulley, the alternator, the Power Steering pump, the idler pulley, and the tensioner. To properly route the belt, it starts at the crankshaft, moves upward to the alternator, then down to the power steering pump, and wraps around the idler and tensioner before returning to the crankshaft. It's important to refer to the vehicle's service manual or an under-hood diagram for the exact routing to ensure correct installation.
To replace the serpentine belt on a 2003 Infiniti QX4, first, ensure the engine is off and cool. Locate the serpentine belt tensioner and use a wrench or socket to relieve tension on the belt. Remove the old belt, noting the routing path, then install the new belt following the same path. Finally, release the tensioner back into place and check the belt alignment before starting the engine.
First you take the old belt off, and then you put the new belt on!!
i cant seem to get my tension idle aligned properly.. i think it's the washer alignment is wrong. 2000 qx4 top idle pulley

100,000 miles
According to the Gates website ( they make timing belts etcetera ) the 3.3 litre V6 engine in a 1999 Infiniti QX4 has a timing BELT
does 2002 inifiniti QX4 have an electrial panel to control each head light (low & high beam)?
According to the owners manual, for that vehicle the timing belt should be changed at 110,000 miles.
how do you remove the SRS?
no problem as long as it is unlead gas,i filled up with my 2002 qx4 and find no big difference as the 91 premium gas.
