The following is taken out of my 1999 Odyssey manual; 1999 through 2001 are the same generation with same spec. engine (SAME HP & Torque output);

Number of occupants including driver based on 150lbs (70Kg) per occupant, and no cargo: MAXIMUM TOTAL TRAILER WEIGHT

Without Transmission Fluid cooler: 2=2,000lbs (900Kg), 3=1,850lbs (830Kg), 4=1,700lbs (770Kg), 5=1,550lbs (700Kg), 6=1,400lbs (630Kg), 7=850lbs (385Kg)**

With transmission fluid cooler: 2=3,500lbs (1,580Kg), 3=3,350lbs (1,520Kg), 4=3,200lbs (1,450Kg), 5=3,050lbs (1,380Kg), 6=2,900lbs (1,310Kg), 7=850lbs (385Kg)**

**Weight limited to avoid exceeding rear GAWR

Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR): The total weight of the vehicle, all occupants, all cargo, and the tongue load must not exceed: 2,775lbs (1,260Kg) on the front axle, 2,840lbs (1,290Kg) on the rear axle.

Gross Combined Weight Rating (GCWR): The total weight of the vehicle, all occupants and cargo, and the trailer and everything in or on it, must not exceed: 8,160lbs (3,700Kg) with transmission fluid cooler. 6,660lbs (3,025Kg) without transmission fluid cooler.

Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR): The total weight of the vehicle, all occupants, all cargo, and the tongue load must not exceed 5,565lbs (2,525Kg)
