5w 20 is recommended by most dealers. I stick with castrol GTX and bring 5 quarts in for my oil change as the Kia dealership here uses only Valvoline. You likely have a 1.6 liter so your oil capacity will be 3.5 quarts. Don't let them tell you that you need 5 quarts or you will be way over the fill line. This has happened to me several times to the point that now I bring in exactly 3.5 quarts and tell them if any additional is necessary, I will do it myself. Too much oil is not good.
