first check that your front wheel nuts are tight! if they are then check that when you turn the steering wheel that both front wheels turn (checks the steering mechanism including the tie rod ends) if they dont check tie rod ends. you probably cant do anything more yourself so take it to a mechanic.

I came across several other responses on the internet which turned out to solve my rattling problem, and the answer was to replace my front strut mounts. Although I had my struts replaced before, no one bothered to change the mounts as well, which were key in silencing this annoying rattling that made me feel like something was about to fall off.

Best.

You press the brakes and the car is at a full stop it shakes like you could feel the vibration what does this mean?

If you mean when you are coming to a stop, and press on the brakes, you feel a vibration- this most likely means that your brake rotors are warped and need to be turned. If you mean you are already at a full stop, in idle, and you press the brake and feel a vibration- it may mean a vacuum problem in the engine or something like that. So it depends- is it your brakes vibrating, you feel it in the pedal? Or is it your engine suddenly running rough and the whole front end of the car shakes?

What would cause a 2001 Bonneville to shake at 40 mph and quit at about 50mph it also shakes when braking. We have had it aligned twice.?

The braking problem is almost certainly a disk brake rotor. The vibration could be a faulty tire, a bent or damaged "half shaft" or an out of balance tire. Front end vibration is not caused by an alignment problem, but can be accentuated by worn suspension or steering components.

Vibration when applying brakes is most likely warped rotors. Another cause could be loose caliper bolts.

The front end of 1995 Toyota tocoma 4wd is shaking Tires rotated and good brakes Starts at 65 mph and get worse as you try to slow down?

If it shakes only when the brakes are applied, its the brakes. Just because they are "good" and stop the truck well doesn't mean they are balanced and wont cause a vibration.

What could be the problem if your car shakes a little bit?

You have a tire out of balance. Have all 4 tires balanced and rotated. If it still shakes have the motor mounts inspected.
