When replacing the valve cover gasket on a 92 Honda Accord the kit came with an extra set of o-rings that weren't there when I took the valve cover off what are they for?
I was puzzled myself about these last time I changed the VCG on my 92 Honda. The oil leak has come back so I am repeating the process and again puzzling what these are for. I've tried everywhere to fit them with no success. They fit nicely into where the spark plug rubber seal fits and wonder if its an alternative for it. I have a situation where the spark plug orifices gradually fill up with oil and spill over onto the exhaust if I break hard. I have tightened the bolts down a tad more. I was hoping that the little o-rings would be my answer. Maybe it's some sort of energy ring. 8)
