have to replace from the dealer, because of the anti-theft system. Not True. I have a 2002 Mazda Millenia with anti-theft alarm factory installed. I simply ordered a key fob on line for about $30. bucks and it came with the instructions for how to program it. The dealer told me only THEY could do it ... at a cost of about $160.00! Wow big difference. My cheap key fob works GREAT!
The Mazda Millenia never had a chip in the key so yes the aftermarket key will work however it will need to be cut by a locksmith or the dealer.
Ask its owner for the key.
To reset the alarm on a 2002 Mazda Millenia, first ensure that the vehicle is unlocked using the key or the remote. Then, insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position without starting the engine. This should deactivate the alarm system. If the alarm continues to sound, you may need to disconnect the battery for a few minutes and then reconnect it to fully reset the system.
How do I re-program a remote for a 1997 mazda millinea?
Mazda millenia's have the same kind of key as a Lexus...the dealership is the only place that i know of... You have to find a locksmith that has a "sidewinder" cutting machine. They can cut the key much cheaper than the dealer!
Push the Trunk button on the driver door.
How do I hot wire my mazda millennia not for illegal reasons. I lost my key and need to get my car home
a few dollars at your local hardware store.
It depends on what model of Mazda you have. My 2000 Mazda millenia doesn't. It does have reverse teeth though. I would have to go to a dealer to get another one made for it.
29's - i have a 97 millenia and i had to visit the parts dept. at my local Mazda dealership with my registration in order to have an extra key made. my dealer had to send out for the key because it is cut differently from other keys and it cost me about 75 dollars.
A Mazda Dealer's Parts Department can cut a new key from the car's VIN number.
