Bank 1 Sensor 1 is on the rear of the engine near the firewall on the rear manifold.
Note that there are three sensors, Bank 1 Sensor 1, Bank 2 Sensor 1, and Bank 1 Sensor 2. There is only one "Sensor 2", that is Bank 1 Sensor 2 and it is under the car by the catalytic converter. There are two "Sensor 1's", one on the front manifold and one on the back manifold. The Bank 2 Sensor 1 is easy to see from above - you open the hood, look at the front manifold, and there it is! However Bank 1 Sensor 1 is a royal pain. I can only see it in my 2000 Sienna from beneath, and though you can see it, it takes skinny arms, long reach, and some effort to get a wrench on it. If it pops free, then it is relatively straight forward to remove it. However if it is stuck (as often happens since they get carbon build-up on the threads inside the manifold) they are a god-awful pain to get out.
Good luck!
bank 1 sensor 1 2002 on toyots sienna
Bank 2 is the side of the engine that faces the front of the vehicle, sensor 1 is the upper sensor, it is in the exhaust manifold
its is located downstream on the backside exhaust manifold
On a Toyota Sienna, Bank 1 Sensor 2 is located on the exhaust system, specifically after the catalytic converter on the driver's side. This sensor monitors the exhaust gases to help manage emissions and fuel efficiency. To access it, you may need to lift the vehicle and possibly remove some underbody shields for better visibility and reach. Always consult the vehicle's service manual for precise locations and instructions.
Bank 2 sensor 1 is the O2 sensor in the exhaust manifold closest to the firewall.Cut and paste the link below for a detailed fix with pics of the O2 sensor repair."http://polifrogblog.blogspot.com/2009/11/sienna-o2-sensor-change.html"
Trouble code P0150 means:O2 sensor circuit malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 1)
Trouble code P0153 means:O2 sensor circuit slow response (Bank 2 Sensor 1)
Trouble code P0153 means:O2 sensor circuit slow response (Bank 2 Sensor 1)
Bank 2 is the sensor opposite from the number one cylinder, and on your vehicle is the front of the engine. Sensor 1 is the first oxygen sensor you come to from the engine in the exhaust pipe.
Code P1130 Means air/fuel sensor circuit range/performance (bank 1 sensor 1)
its not a sensor you timing belt jumped a tooth on the camshaft sprocket on the rear of the motor...the Bank 1 camshaft...which is the one that sucks to get to
