It is behind the glove box, on top of the blower motor box. It mounts with 2 small screws and is easily visible after you remove the glove box outside panel (1screw and a clip) , the Glove box & the glove box mount panel (4 phillips screws & 2 10mm bolts.)
you need a new blower motor resistor with auto temp control
To change the blower motor resistor on a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe, first, disconnect the negative battery terminal to ensure safety. Then, locate the blower motor resistor, which is typically found under the passenger side dashboard near the blower motor. Remove the wiring connector and unscrew the resistor from its mounting position. Install the new resistor by reversing the removal process, ensuring all connections are secure before reconnecting the battery.
To replace the blower motor resistor on a 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe, first, disconnect the negative battery cable to ensure safety. Locate the resistor, typically found behind the glove compartment or under the dashboard, and remove any panels obstructing access. Disconnect the wiring harness from the resistor, unbolt it, and replace it with the new part. Reassemble everything and reconnect the battery to test the new resistor.
right next to the blower unit.
To replace the blower motor resistor on a 2001 Hyundai XG300, first disconnect the negative battery terminal to ensure safety. Then, locate the blower motor resistor, which is typically found near the blower motor under the dashboard on the passenger side. Remove any necessary panels for access, disconnect the wiring harness, and unbolt the resistor from its mounting. Install the new resistor by reversing the steps, reconnect the wiring, and test the blower settings to ensure proper function.
A malfunctioning blower motor resistor will cause the blower motor not to work. When the resistor is bad the blower motors will not turn on.
The a/c heater blower motor resister is located in the vehicle on the passengers side inside the housing next to the blower motor...............Remove the blower motor resistor wire harness connector.Remove the blower motor resistor screws.Remove the blower motor resistor.
Could be, blown fuse, bad blower motor, bad blower motor speed resistor, bad blower motor switch,
Resistor is a separate unit from the blower motor
Generally the blower motor resistor is found close to the blower motor. It relies on the blower motor to keep it cool.
