Acura - 2006 RL - The filter "box" links obviously to the air intake hose into the manifold/engine. It takes a few minutes but once you get all 4 screws out of the box "lid", you'll be able to pull the filter out. I put a new K&N in there and think it's a nice change. I couldn't see through my old paper style filter and that means less airflow/lower efficiency and power. One thing - don't take out the larger (10 mm head) screw that holds the box to the car frame - just remove the (qty 4) 8 mm head screws (also have Phillips slots but they'll strip easy - use the socket!) and you'll be all set. I also loosened the band clamp on the air hose to the engine and it made it easier to manipulate the box to get to the filter. I'd recommend a permanent filter like the K&N - $47 and no more replacements @ $30 each. Good luck! - Ken ATL
On the 2006 Acura RL, the engine air filter is located in the air intake box, which is situated on the driver's side of the engine bay. To access it, you’ll need to remove the air intake cover by unscrewing the fasteners. Once the cover is off, you can easily pull out the air filter for inspection or replacement.
The air filter on a 2002 Acura RSX is located in the engine bay, specifically within the air cleaner assembly. To access it, you'll need to remove the air intake duct connected to the throttle body and then unclip the air cleaner cover. Once the cover is removed, you can take out the old air filter and replace it with a new one.
the fuel filter is located on the left side of the engine compartment between the air intake duct and the firewall
The engine air filter is on the driver side of the engine, right near the battery. Not readily apparent because the top of the filter compartment is not a rectangle shape. A bit hard to get the old one out (had to remove a plastic cover along the side of the engine compartment in order to remove the filter compartment) but do-able.
uh, it's an cabin AIR FILTER... it FILTERS the AIR in the cabin!!!
The fuel filter on a Acura Integra is located near the rear of the engine. More specifically it is mounted on the firewall of the engine bay.
No
The fuel filter on a Acura Cl is located in the engine bay. The part itself is bolted onto the firewall towards the rear of the engine.
The air filter is located on the top of the engine. The air filter is enclosed in the air filter housing. Remove the cover to the air filter housing to install the new air filter.
No where. does not have one.
The 1997 Acura intake air temperature sensor is located on the air filter housing. The sensor will be on the right hand side of the air filter housing.
If you follow the tube running from your air filter box to the engine,it is located just above the point where the plastic hose/tube enters the engine.
