The starter on a Mitsubishi 3000GT is located on the passenger side of the engine, near the bottom, close to the transmission bell housing. You can find the starter relay switch in your 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse in the fuse box. The starter relay switch will be in the third column, at the top.
