The thermostat is located on the RH side (passenger side) of the engine, toward the front. A radiator hose goes into a housing. Looking down from the top, there are (normally) two sensors going into the housing. The thermostat is below these and the cover is held onto the block with three bolts. If you replace it, go with an original Nissan brand. It's worth any extra cost.
Yes. The ka24de motor is used from 95 through 98.not just used from 95 to 98 because i have a 1990 240sx with a ka24de in it

hey ive got an 87 Nissan d21 with a z2.4L motor and the thermostat is located where at the end of the upper rad hose going into the motor. Its housed in a steel casing. you can't miss it if that's what motor your running.
The thermostat is located directly back from your radiator cap and approx. 6 inchs below the top of your motor. It is connected to the lower radiator hose so if you follow it up to the front of the motor there is the thermostat housing. It is also mounted by 3 small bolt, the one on the bottom you will have to feel for.Be sure to look at the direction of the thermostat as you remove it so you install the new one the same way.
The thermostat on a 1989 Nissan Sentra is on the front of the motor to the left. It is just below where the valve cover meets top of the manifold. The thermostat is enclosed in the radiator hose at that location.
Yes, some '92 240sx' came with the ka24de motor.
no
it is located where the top radiator hose enters the motor inside the bolt on metal housing
it is located where the top radiator hose enters the motor, inside the bolt on metal housing that the hose clamps to.
it has a ka24 2.4l dual over head cam
take out the halfshafts pull the motor and unbolt the tranny
Almost all thermostats are located at the motor where the top radiator hose connects to the motor. Drain the coolant, remove the 2 bolts in the thermostat housing, replace the thermostat, and replace the housing and refill the radiator.
