There isn't one in the cabin of the vehicle... There's a button underneath the middle of the rear spoiler... Stumped me for a couple days too!
This was such a life saver. I just locked my keys in the trunk of the Spyder. Thanks!!
It is located in the trunk.
in the trunk
In the trunk. Under the wooden board.
There is a button on back underneath the spoiler.
The gas cap release for a Mitsubishi Diamante is located in the trunk, on the left side. There is a cable with a handle on it running down from the top left of the trunk, and you'll need to pull it to manually release the gas cap.
there are plastic covers over them on the inside of the trunk that you pop off
look in the trunk. if it has the relay button, it would prolly be on one of the sides, usually in a compartment. it would be a red button if im right. hope i helped
Check in the trunk.
The lock and unlock switch for the doors unlocks the trunk too.Push the switch to the left and hold it.
Yes, you can manually release and open the trunk on a 1999 Mitsubishi Diamante. If the trunk release button or remote is not functioning, you can access the trunk release lever located inside the car, typically near the driver's seat. Additionally, if necessary, you can fold down the rear seats to reach the trunk from the cabin. Always refer to your owner's manual for specific instructions related to your vehicle.
The rear "trunk" (decklid) release mechanism is an option, if equipped, and is located on the right side of the dash protrusion on the dash. It will be a switch that shows an opening "trunk". If this switch is not there, then the car was not equipped with rear trunk release. If you are trying to get into a Fiero trunk that does not have a decklid release mechanism or a broken one, and you have lost the keys, then you will have to actually break into the car to open the trunk. Typically, if the outer key switch is remove, you can insert a long screwdriver into the hole and pop the trunk lock.
The trunk switch on the dash should still operate unless the trunk release switch inside the glove box has been turned off.
