The voltage regulator is located, or integrated inside the alternator, and must be replaced as a unit, unless you can find an electrical auto shop that can rebuild it for you.

I can't find the starter a 1996 Infinity G20?
In the 1993 Infiniti G20, the voltage regulator is integrated into the alternator. To access it, you typically need to remove the alternator from the engine bay. Ensure the battery is disconnected before attempting any work on the electrical system to avoid short circuits or shocks. If issues arise, it may be easier to replace the entire alternator rather than just the regulator.
A new fuel pump helped my 93 G20. Plus try a full tune-up.It could possibly be the fuel pressure regulator or clean or replace your injectors, or replace the O2 sensor.
it is located right in front of the fuel rail going to your fuel injectors.....follow the tubing from your fuel filter mounted on the drivers side firewall....this tubing leads right into the regulator.

I believe '91-'94 are compatible.
Many auto manufacturers are putting the voltage regulator INSIDE the alternator. Modern regulators are solid state, quite small and incredibly reliable. Even still, they do occasionally go bad.
