You add refrigerant through the low side service port.
get it out from the plug under neat and add it on the same place where you check the transmission oil (where the stick is)
i have a kia optama 4.6 v6 that get 60miles to the gal. of gas the only way to get this is add that little plug value cost about 2 dollars hope this works for you
You always add freon using a set of gauges and you would use the low side (blue knob), if you are not using gauges then still use the low side service port but make sure that its a freon problem first...........
You don't add Freon as it has R134a not Freon. You add it to the low pressure side which is the larger hose.
where is low pressure valve on a 2005 ford 500? i am trying to add freon
Take it to the a auot shop. you can not add freon
Contains no Freon. Freon was banned beginning in 1996.
First off your 2005 Dodge A/C system does not contain any Freon. It contains R134. Freon has not been used since 1995. Secondly you should not add refrigerant until the leak is repaired. Once it is repaired the system should be recharged by a professional with the proper tools and gauges.
By taking it to a professional who has the skill and the proper tools to accomplish this repair and to fix the leak. It is illegal to add refrigerant to any system without first repairing the leak.
