FYI Manufactures have stopped putting dip sticks on some transmissions so that do-it-yourselfers cant add the wrong Transmission Fluid to the transmission. If you mix different transmission fluids the chemical reactions can change the viscosity of the fluid and turn it to sludge.
The transmission fluid needs to be changed in a 1996 Nissan Sentra every 30,000 miles. The transmission fluid capacity is shown when the dip stick registers full.
In my grand am se I have to take it to a shop and they have to check the tranny fluid with a analizer. ya.

On a 2010 Nissan Sentra, the transmission dipstick is located near the back of the engine bay, close to the firewall. It is typically found near the transmission case, often marked with a bright-colored handle. To check the transmission fluid level, you'll need to pull out the dipstick, wipe it clean, reinsert it, and then check the fluid level on the dipstick.
I have a 2001 Nissan Sentra SE and it was suggested I change it every 100,000 miles.

Dextron II.
For a 1995 Nissan Sentra, the recommended type of automatic transmission fluid (ATF) is typically Nissan Matic D or an equivalent fluid meeting the same specifications. It's important to check the owner's manual for specific recommendations, as using the correct fluid helps ensure optimal performance and longevity of the transmission. Always ensure the fluid is changed at the recommended intervals to maintain transmission health.
Use Dexron II transmission fluid.
With transmission fluid and a small spouted funnel, fill the stem with the red rubber ball cap, to the lower right of the engine. It's the same stem you check your transmission fluid level.
