Well, im not sure this answers your question, but i own a 1995 Dodge stratus and when i turn it made this terrible squeeking. I sprayed down the boot on the ball joint and that solved it. What happened was that the boobt just got twisted and the rubber was squeeking. WD40 works well to spray it.
