In a Lexus GS300, if the AC is blowing cold air on the passenger side but not on the driver side, it may be due to a malfunctioning blend door actuator. This actuator controls the flow of air between the temperature zones, and if it fails or gets stuck, it can prevent cold air from reaching the driver's side. Additionally, issues with the climate control system or low refrigerant levels could also contribute to this uneven cooling. A thorough diagnostics check is recommended to pinpoint the exact cause.
Temp blend door actuator is bad on the passenger side assuming you want both sides to blow cold air.
That can happen if they are low on freon.
You need to replace the heater coil !
heater control valve is bad on the drivers side.
Bad "blend door" actuator or stuck blend door on the driver's side.
Hey kenneth==It is the directional door not operating properly. It may be a problem with the controler. GoodluckJoe
it run out of frion.
The flap is stuck open that controls when and where the heat goes
You need to first check that you do not have any vacuum leaks and then check the a/c / heater door operations, if all are working then its possible that you have a slightly clogged heater core.........
that is the default mode for the hvac, check vacuum line on passenger side of motor, comes for the strut area over to motor, main vacuum hose for system, mine had come loose
Most likely the warm-cold air separator got stuck or the servo (or rod if you have manual air system) mechanism failed.
To blow the nasty fumes up and away from passenger vehicles that may be near by.
