A classic symptom for this problem is your egr valve is most likely blocked up with carbon residue.Mounted below the carburetor and has one vac line, one electrical plug, and 3 ten mm bolts.Remove and note the position of the gasket on this.Next clean with carburetorand a tooth brush or flat head screw driver (just a good small cleaning tool) to remove the carbon build up. Reinstall and see if this improves the problem. If not could be your emission system like your pre-cat below the exhaust manifold is blocked up with carbon,or your catatlytic convertor is blocked up as well.In short there could be a multitude of issues, like sticking carb linkage, worn exhaust parts, so keep all this in mind. Also broken vacumm lines or leaking.Just to much to list however this is a good start.
