Could be,
Air in the PS system,
Loose/worn PS belt,
PS pump going bad,
CV axle joint going bad,
Wheel bearing going bad,
Possible vacuum leak
your cv boot has torn and needs replacement
tie rod
A bad bearing can cause can the front end of car to make a squeaking noise when turning steering wheel either direction. It can also be caused by bad suspension.
The noise sounds like a "Growl" or a "roaring" noise. Generally you can also feel a slight vibration in the car as you drive.
no suv's do not make more noise than a car
Could be many things, ball joints usually make clunking noises (usually one when turning and one when turning the wheel from turning), cv joints usually make a clicking noise and vibrate under load. Have it checked out, les schwab will do it for free (check it).
If you lowered the car or had suspension/strut work done you can be rubbing The body in the boot?
A bad cv joint/axle shaft on the front will make a clicking noise when turning.
The front wheel bearing is bad. The sound will be more pronounced when turning one way but not the other. The bad bearing is on the side of the car opposite the turning since more weight is on that side of the car when turning.
it could be a wheel bearing that is bad or it could also be busted belts inside a tire
You have either run something over or your car is due for a service
