I have a Daewoo Matiz that has low power when the engine light comes on I have changed the spark plugs/leads/distributer cap/distributer/and coil checked the timing changed the fuel filter air filter and it still looses power when the engine light comes on.
You have spent a lot of money and you still have the problem. Do you not think it might be time to take it to an expert and have it repaired correctly. You would've been money ahead right at this moment.
i was told its the same fuse as the interior light
on top of gearbox with 2 wires connected to it.
faulty switch on gear box
On the driver side under the bonnet right side wall
yes
open the lift-gate and take off the tail lamp
i had the very same problem on my 1999 matiz,it was a broken wire on the fuel injector.(i'd changed the distributor cap, fuel filter, plugs etc before finding out it was this)hope this helps.
The petrol light comes on because you are very, very low on petrol.
The reversing light switch on a Daewoo Matiz is typically located on the transmission. Specifically, it can be found on the gearbox, usually near the shift lever or at the rear of the transmission housing. To access it, you may need to lift the vehicle and remove any protective covers. Always consult the vehicle's service manual for precise location and replacement instructions.
The backup light on a Daewoo Matiz is typically located in the rear taillight assembly. It is usually positioned near the bottom of the taillight, alongside the brake and turn signal lights. When the vehicle is in reverse, the backup light illuminates to signal other drivers of the vehicle's movement. If you need to replace the bulb, access may require removing the rear taillight assembly.
If you take out the wrong fuse on the matiz it activates the air-bag warning light and you need to take it to a dealer to get it reset.
There are more than 50 problems that will cause a check engine light to stay on. The most common reason is the circuit board needs to be replaced. The only way to know why the light is on is to run a diagnostic test.
