The most common reason a Honda burns up coils is because other ignition components are worn out. A healthy igntiion system with new factory parts requires about 12,000 volts to fire a spark plug. An engine with worn out spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor, and spark plug wires can require as much or more than 25,000 volts to fire a spark plug. The excess energy required to fire the spark plug has to be generated by the ignition coil and causes it to burn out.

Two additionl point. Always use factory Honda ignition component and replace the ignitor when replacing the coil. These parts are not cheap but Honda ignition systems work best and last the longest with Honda parts.
