Sounds like the reverse switch is either damaged, or wired backwards... Did you have your clutch done recently?
No! At least mine don't
The problem is the reverse light switch. It is located on the top of the transmission that should sloved your problem.
If you are afraid of breaking something take it to a garage.
You may have blown a fuse or a flasher.
It could be the fuse. See the related question.
I had the same problem on my '99 Hyundai Sonata GLS. It was the alternator. It costs about $170 and it's about $150 to take it to Car-X and have them install it.
reverse lights on a Hyundai get there supply from a switch screwwed into the top of the transmission just left of the air filter box if your looking down at it
Yes,most cars have a fuse block under the drivers steering colum or right above the hood release latch
17 Gallons give or take, the low fuel lights up when you have about 2 Gallons left
The reverse light sensor switch on the gearbox needs replacing. The switch is normally located on top of the gearbox & around the middle of underneath the air intake box.
I just purchased a 2011 sonata 1 week ago.it came with no owners manual.an orange symbol with a half circle on bottom and a thermometer? looking stick in the middle of the half circle popped up.what might that be?
One fuse controls the function of the hazard, reverse, and turn signals of the car. When there fuse blows all the components stop working.
