it depends on the model of 323, as through the years the 323 has had many different engines, it started in front wheel drive version as a E series which was 1300 & 1500 engine, then came the B series which was 1300, 1500, 1600 and 1800, it has had the KF 2000 engine, the last of the 323 engines were Z series which were 1500 and 1600

The Mazda 323 of that time from had a 1600cc engine but that isn't going to effect the issue of where to get a wiring diagram. Haynes makes a manual for the 1990-1994 Mazda 323. If you have a 1986-1989 Mazda 323, you will need to get a FSM (Factory Service Manual).

It is going to depend on what model you are buying obviously. They come in a variety of sizes ranging from 800cc in 1963 to the 2.0 litre models in 2003 just before production ended. In 1963 though, the mazda 323 was not known as a 323. It only had it's name changed in 1977 although it was still known as the familia in some parts of the world. All engines were a small 4 cylinders.
