To check the transmission of a 2000 Daewoo Lanos, start by inspecting the transmission fluid level and condition using the dipstick, if equipped. Ensure the vehicle is on a level surface and the engine is running while checking. Look for any leaks beneath the vehicle and listen for unusual noises when the car is in gear. Additionally, test the transmission by shifting through all gears to ensure smooth transitions without slipping or jerking.
To install a water pump on a Daewoo Lanos, first, ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the battery. Remove any components obstructing access to the water pump, such as the serpentine belt and timing cover, if necessary. Unbolt the old water pump, clean the mounting surface, then apply a gasket or sealant as needed before positioning the new pump. Finally, reassemble all components in reverse order, refill the coolant, and check for leaks.
There wont be any leaks, the car wont overheat and it will stay in the normal operating temperatures.
have a blown head gasket is my guess
sounds like a bad thermostat even though it is replaced
To change the fuel filter on a Daewoo Lanos, first ensure the vehicle is turned off and the fuel system is depressurized. Locate the fuel filter, typically found along the fuel line under the car or near the fuel tank. Disconnect the fuel lines from the filter using appropriate tools, then remove the old filter and install the new one, ensuring the flow direction is correct. Finally, reconnect the fuel lines and check for any leaks before starting the engine.
Have you checked for leaks? also the cooling fan may not be working.
Be care-full my radiator blew up and burnt me. I replaced Radiator, thermostat, and water pump. Timing belt is in the way so I replaced it too. OK Now
If you do not have any external leaks, a head gasket is most likely.
Check for water leaks in rubber hoses. Check radiator for leaks. Check for Low engine oil level. Check oil for water ingress (water droplets on dipstick) Check for water in cylinder (Check compression or remove spark plugs, check for rust or water spurring out hole when cranking engine).

Hi there, if you have flushed any engine and have changed thermostate there are only two options that are left; (providing that there are no leaks) 1. the thermostat is faulty / 2. your water pump is broken and needs to be replaced
