Over the years, many people have question [Armstrong] as to what the "Good luck, Mr. Gorsky" statement meant. On July 5, in Tampa Bay, Florida, while answering questions following a speech, a reporter brought up the 26-year-old question to Armstrong. He finally responded. It seems that Mr. Gorsky had died and so Armstrong felt he could answer the question.

When he was a kid, Neil was playing Baseball with his brother in the back yard. His brother hit a fly ball which landed in front of his neighbors' bedroom window. The neighbors were Mr. and Mrs. Gorsky. As he leaned down to pick up the ball, he heard Mrs. Gorsky shouting at Mr. Gorsky, "Oral sex? Oral sex you want? You'll get oral sex when the kid next door walks on the moon!"

Did Neal Armstong say good luck Mr Gorsky?

Yes, Neil Armstrong is famously quoted as saying "Good luck, Mr. Gorsky" during his Apollo 11 moon landing speech. This phrase was said to be a humorous reference to a story about his childhood, where he overheard a conversation between his neighbors, the Gorskys. Although it was initially thought to be a joke, Armstrong later confirmed that it was indeed a playful anecdote, and he used it to lighten the moment during his historic lunar landing.

What is the answer to he invented the moon walk on poptropica?

What did Neil Armstrong say about his neighbor?

This referred to a 'Mr Gorsky'. On the moon Armstrong was supposed to say 'This one's for you, Mr Gorsky', or 'Good Luck Mr Gorsky', depending upon the source. Supposedly when questioned Armstrong refused to say why he said this until eventually he admitted that it came from when he and his brother played ball in their back yard when they were kids. One day the ball went into a neighboor's yard - a neighbour who didn't like the tearaway Armstrong boys much. After climbing on the extension roof to get his ball Armstrong overheard them arguing in the bedroom: "Oral sex? oral sex? I'll give you oral sex when one of those boys next door walks on the moon..." hence Heil Armstron's quote. However, the whole story is untrue, and Armstrong never said it, always denying it when questioned. Moreover, the accurate transcripts of the Apollo Missions (available from the NASA site) show that nowhere did Armstrong ever say such a thing either during the flight, or whilst on the moon. A pity really as it makes a good after-dinner story.
