The Montgolfier Brother's flew the first hot air balloon.
A dirigible can be steered as it is a powered, steerable airship with engines and controls. A balloon, on the other hand, is unpowered and moves with the wind, making it unable to be steered in a specific direction.
The development of airplanes predates the creation of rocket ships. The Wright brothers successfully flew the first powered aircraft in 1903, while the concept of rocket propulsion began to be explored in the early 20th century and led to the first liquid-fueled rocket flight in 1926.
Balloons float because of the same principal as how ships float: bouyancy. A ship displaces a volume of water. If the ship's weight is less than the volume of water that it displaces, then it will float. Same is true for a balloon. It displaces a volume of air. If the Hydrogen or Helium in the balloon weighs less than the volume of air it displaces, then it will rise.
Weather forecasts are crucial for hawker pilots, ship captains, fishermen, and balloon sellers as they provide vital information about conditions that could impact their activities. For hawker pilots, forecasts inform them about safe flying conditions, while ship captains rely on them for navigating safely across waters. Fishermen use forecasts to determine optimal fishing times and avoid storms, and balloon sellers need weather updates to ensure safe launching conditions. Overall, accurate weather information helps enhance safety and operational efficiency for all these professions.

The Sullivan Brothers died when the ship, the USS Juneau, was sunk by the Japanese in the Pacific Ocean. Many of them died while waiting to be rescued.
Cassio's ship arrives first
Currently there is only one commissioned ship named after more than one navy man. The USS The Sullivans (DDG-68), a guided-missile destroyer is named after the five Sullivan brothers. The brothers were on the USS Juneau when it was struck by a Japanese torpedo during WWII. Four brothers went down with the ship and the fifth died in a lifeboat. Another U.S. Navy ship, The Sullivans (DD-537), a destroyer, was named after the brothers in 1943. It was decommissioned in 1974.
