I had never heard of "Nibru" as a planet. With a little Google research, I have been able to learn that a few people believe that a dark planet (or star; the postings on this point are inconsistent) is going to collide or nearly collide with Earth in the year 2012, with catastrophic results.
This seems to be a warmed-over re-wording of the 1950's vintage Velikovsy "Worlds In Collision" panic.
I have been unable to find any scientist who believes that a planetary collision is imminent, or that scientists or the government are somehow covering up the evidence of an impending catastrophe. (The inability of governments to keep ANY secrets generally erodes my belief in things that are claimed to be government secrets. )
In short, I do not believe that Nibru exists.
So far the answer is Earth... But we are still looking around...
Earth is the only planet known to have life and liquid water.
When we say 'life' what we normally mean is 'life similar to that on Earth', and obviously the Earth is the planet which most favours that type of life.
Earth.

no
The only planet in that category is the Earth, the planet most people live on. How does the orbit affect life? without the orbit there is no life on Earth, so it's fundamental really. The orbit keeps our temperature within narrow band so that life can exist and flourish. Without an orbit the Earth would travel off into outer space and the temperature would quickly descend below -200 degrees everywhere.
Planet earth is the only planet that we know of that has life on it.
Earth- We are the only planet that can support life.
Earth is called a life sustaining planet because it has life on it, and is currently the only known planet that supports life.
