The tide is based on the phases of the moon and sun.
'Flood tide' is the expression used for the incoming, or rising tide. The opposite is 'Ebb tide' when it goes back out again. You would have to refer to the tide tables, for the day, in your area of interest. Flood tide is the time between low tide and the next high tide.
You've got this one slightly confused... There is Yule tide, which happens at about Christmas time, this is a paganistic festival which is a way of ending the year, in hope that a new year will come. Kind of a funeral and birth in one go. The 'Tide' in this case is an old English word for time. Christmas tide isn't a proper use of the word tide in this instance.
You can synchronize the time on a watch by comparing it to a reliable time source, such as a radio-controlled clock, smartphone clock, or computer clock. Alternatively, you can adjust the time on your watch using a time signal or by setting it to match local time.

I own this exact clock that I purchased new in 1980. At the time I paid $375 for this clock.
A grandfather clock (also a longcase clock, tall-case clock, grandfather's clock, or floor clock) is a tall, freestanding, weight-driven pendulum clock with the pendulum held inside the tower or waist of the case. Clocks of this style are commonly 1.8–2.4 metres (6–8 feet) tall. The case often features elaborately carved ornamentation on the hood (or bonnet), which surrounds and frames the dial, or clock face. The English clockmaker William Clement is credited with the development of this form in 1670. Until the early 20th century, pendulum clocks were the world's most accurate timekeeping technology, and longcase clocks, due to their superior accuracy, served as time standards for households and businesses. Today they are kept mainly for their decorative and antique value, having been widely replaced by both analog and digital timekeeping.
I just paid $31.00 for a model 61208,if that helps.

Low Tide- 9am to 3pm High tide- 3pm to 9am (This chart is in game time not real time. [In other words, it's based on the in- game clock and whatever you set it to.])
There's no stair building required, but the Shoal Cave is confusing if you don't know the secret about it. Okay, remember when you set your clock at the beginning at the game? That comes into play here. The Shoal Cave has a tide schedule. At a certain time during the day, the tide is in, and you have access to the upper areas of the cave. And, at another time, the tide goes out, and you get access to the lower areas. The following table will help you keep track. 3am-9am ---> Low Tide 9am-3pm ---> High Tide 3pm-9pm ---> Low tide 9pm-3am ---> High Tide PS: This is set to the clock's time in your room. If that clock says 3 o'clock, the tide will be comin' or goin'.
The high tide depends on what time it is on your game, check the clock in your house that you set at the beginning to see when the tide comes in. 3am-9am: Low tide 9am-3pm: High tide 3pm-9pm: Low tide 9pm-3am: High tide
I'm not really sure when it's low tide, but when you start the game if you set your clock as, '6:00pm', then the whole entire time you play, the tide is low.
I recently purchased a World Time model 612-371 in working order and excellent condition at an antique mall for $140. I would like to know if parts are available. That model # does not register with the Howard Miller Co, but I have emailed them. You might be able to locate additional information via the following website: http://lawsonshomefurnishings.com/showcaselist.php?item_id=771083&page=5&list_page=1&pagesize=12&columns=3&query_style=showcaselist&type_id=778 This item had a retail price of $799.00 and was last made in 2004. Some Howard Miller dealers and service centers may still have parts. What kind of parts do you need? Usually it is the paper scroll that tears or wears out. But sometimes it is the light or the motor that wear out. Try Elegance In Time Clock Shop in Orange, CA. (714) 921-8397.
