Yes, quartz has been discovered on the moon. Apollo astronauts found small amounts of quartz in the lunar soil samples they brought back to Earth. The presence of quartz on the moon indicates that it shares some geologic similarities with Earth.

To set the volume on a Daniel Dakota Quartz Westminster Chime clock, locate the volume control knob or switch, typically found on the back or side of the clock. Turn the knob or toggle the switch to adjust the chime volume to your desired level. If your model has a specific setting for silent operation, ensure it is not activated if you want the chimes to sound. Always refer to the user manual for model-specific instructions.

I have a Daniel Dakota westminster chime that chimes only during daylight hours. Original instructions said to set clock to 6:15 p.m. before inserting batteries (hard to tell which is pm or am.) I set the clock to 6:15 and insert the batteries. Then begin to turn the clock to set the correct time. If you clock has chime courtesy, when it reaches the evening and night hours, it will stop chiming on the hour, and will click instead. If you are setting the clock to a daylight hour when it should chime, then stop on the correct time while it is chiming. If it is an evening or night time, then set the correct time when the clock is setting. The worst case scenario is, if the clock is silent during the day, and chiming during the night, advance the time by 12 hours to reach the correct setting.

Star rose quartz is found in the United States in states such as South Dakota and Maine. The rose quartz in these locations often exhibit asterism, a phenomenon that causes a star-like shape to form on the surface when light hits the stone in certain directions.
Rose quartz is found in Madagascar, India, Germany, and several localities in the USA, most notably in South Dakota. Currently, a lot of rose quartz has been excavated in Brazil, where the only current source of true, well-formed crystals of rose quartz can be found. Rose quartz can be found in cores of pegmatites.
