The Universe is a big place, and we can see only our own tiny corner of it. We're aware of only two at the present time; the International Space Station built primarily by the United States but with the assistance and components of Russia, the European Space Agency, Canada and Japan, and the Chinese space station which is only intermittently inhabited.
Two previous space stations were destroyed when their orbits decayed and they fell back into the atmosphere; the US "Skylab" and the Soviet "Mir".
There might be other space stations in our solar system, but we haven't discovered any yet. In other solar systems, or in other galaxies? If intelligent life ever developed on other worlds, it's likely that they built their own space stations, but of course, we have no knowledge of any of that. With our current technology, we're right at the limit detecting other PLANETS; other space stations would be impossible to detect.
Ask again in a thousand years.
The universe IS space, plus everything that's in it.
As of now, there are multiple space stations in orbit around Earth. The International Space Station (ISS) is the most well-known and has been continuously occupied since November 2000. Other countries, such as China and Russia, also have their own space stations in operation.
There have been several space stations in space, including famous ones like Mir and Skylab. Currently, the International Space Station (ISS) is operational and serves as a research laboratory for astronauts from different countries.
Space shuttles and space stations are similar in that they are both used for space exploration and research. However, space shuttles are spacecraft designed for transport between Earth and space, while space stations are large structures designed for long-term habitation in space by astronauts. Additionally, space shuttles can return to Earth, while space stations remain in orbit.
International and Mir
From space shuttles and space stations. Also satilites.
Space stations can help in the exploration of space because in space stations they do experiments on things they find in space.
Two
N.A.S.A has six space stations

space stations help aid in space by doing test and experiments thx
None - but Italy has contributed to the ESAs effort to the International Space Station

Stations are built in space; Shuttles use rocket boosters.

space stations use a variety of objects to explore space. probes and the Hubble Space Telescope are main ones.
