The stars visible to us (some of which are blue supergiants)(most are in other galaxies, some are hidden by dust clouds or regions of very dense stars, etc.) are named and cataloged in a number of ways. (A "blue giant" star cannot really exist because the name giant refers to a old star, and old stars are always relatively cool and red. But that's off topic.) The brightest stars have given names such as "Bellatrix" and "Aldebaran". Dimmer ones get Bayer Catalog Greek letters and Flamsteed numbers. (e.g. Gamma Orionis, with the second word referring to which constellation it's in, in this case Orion.) The dimmest ones that are visible with telescopes are classified in a number of catalogs, which have their own abbreviations. (e.g. USNOA2 0975-06967056.) However they aren't classified as things like Red Giant 65578-434, if that's what you were wondering.
The large hot stars are typically called "blue-white" stars or also Blue Giants. Cooler large stars are called Red Giants.
Generally red giants are bigger, but really it has more to do with how hot they burn. Blue giants burn hotter and have more mass.
Blue Giants refers to super heavy blue stars such as Bellatrix.Planets are divided into 3 main types :-Gas Giants such as Jupiter and Saturn. Ice Giantssuch as Neptune and Uranus. Terestrial planets such as Earth, Mars, Venus and Mercury.I believe what u refer to is Ice giants. Both Neptune and Uranus have a blue green appearance
No blue stars are the largest and brightest stars know of. (They are also called Hypergiants). Red giants are dimmer.
Hyper giants live very short lives. Blue hyper giants end up as Wolf-Rayet stars most of the time.

The song "Astronomy" is by Blue Öyster Cult.
Both Uranus and Neptune have a pale blue colour hence they are called ice giants

I don't know about blue giants, but red giants are at the end of a star's life.
The blue and gold uniforms are their alternate uniforms. The Jets were originally called the Titans and their colors were blue and gold. Incidently, they were called the Titans because titans are bigger than giants.
