Gregor Mendel is the father of genetics. He found the inheritance using pea plants.
The idea of continental drift was first proposed by Alfred Wegener in 1912. Wegener's theory suggested that the continents were once joined together in a single landmass called Pangaea and had drifted apart over time.
Nicolaus Copernicus put forward a heliocentric theory.
The geocentric Solar system theory was first proposed by ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle and further developed by astronomer Claudius Ptolemy. This theory placed Earth at the center of the universe with all celestial bodies, including the Sun, planets, and stars, orbiting around it.
No. The "Big Bang" hypothesis of the origin of the Universe developed in the 1930's and was widely ridiculed until about 1965 or so. In fact, the name "big bang" was coined by Sir Fred Hoyle, a British astronomer who intended to mock the idea.
The earliest known proposal that the Sun was at the center of our solar system while the planets moved around it was by Aristarchus of Samos, a Greek mathematician and astronomer who lived in the 3rd century BC. (Others may have proposed it earlier, but no reference to them remains after 2400 years.) However, the views of Aristotle proved easier to accept. It wasn't until Copernicus developed the same theory (probably independently) based on more accurate and complete observational data that the heliocentric view of the solar system was widely accepted.

The atomic theory was first proposed in the 5th century BC by the Greek philosopher Leucippus and his student Democritus. The theory of relativity was first proposed by Albert Einstein in 1905 with his special theory of relativity, followed by his general theory of relativity in 1915.
Might be helpful if we new the theory....

Albert Einstein first proposed the theory of relativity in 1905 through his paper on special relativity, which was later followed by his development of general relativity in 1915.
He first proposed this theory in 1943 in his paper, "A Theory of Human Motivation"

The particle theory of light was first proposed by Sir Isaac Newton in the 17th century. He suggested that light is made up of tiny particles called corpuscles. This theory was later challenged by the wave theory of light proposed by Christian Huygens.
