Armstrong, Aldrin, their Apollo 11 crew-mate Michael Collins, every
other Apollo astronaut, and every person to have stood on the moon
up until now, have been citizens of the USA.
Neil Armstrong and 'Buzz' Aldrin were the first men on the moon. America is the only nation to ever send men to the moon.
Neil Armstrong the 1st man who came out of the spacecraft Buzz Aldrin 2nd to come out of the spacecraft Neil Collins didn't come out of the spacecraft he made sure everything was ok while they were out of the craft
Buzz Aldrin was born in Montclair, New Jersey, United States. He grew up in New Jersey and later went on to become one of the astronauts who participated in the Apollo 11 mission to the moon.
Apollo 11 was a mission conducted by the United States as part of NASA's Apollo program. It was launched from Kennedy Space Center in Florida on July 16, 1969, and marked the first successful manned lunar landing. The crew, including astronauts Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins, returned to Earth on July 24, 1969.
Neil Armstrong flew in Gemini 8,Buzz aldin Gemini 12 and Michael Collins Gemini 10 The Gemini missions were all about making everything come together for athe moon landings for the Apollo program. After Apollo 11, they were deemed to be far too valuable to NASA to be sent back into space.

No, Buzz Aldrin was the national treasure who took to the Dance Floor on DWTS. The most famous Neil Armstrong of all is no longer with us having passed away on the 25th August 2012.

He didn't take any friends, but 2 other astronauts travelled with him to the moon. Buzz Aldrin landed on the moon with Armstrong. Aldrin's job was to tell Armstrong his rate of descent, forward speed and fuel levels. This was necessary because Armstrong was too busy looking out of the window for a place to land to look at the instruments inside the spacecraft. The other man on the Apollo 11 crew was Michael Collins, who stayed in the Command Module while Armstrong and Aldrin landed. Collins was charged with getting the crew to the moon and back. He was also responsible for making observations and taking orbital photos of the moon to find suitable landing sites for future Apollo missions. Collins' most important task was to be ready to rescue Armstrong and Aldrin should the Lunar Module not reach lunar orbital altitude. Every Apollo mission took a crew of 3 people. There was no room for tourists on any Apollo spaceflight.
no he didn't because if he did why has no-one else gone up there , and if it "took him" a year to get there an back how come it took the Chinese two years to get half way and back? an rover the robot cant find "the" USA pole he "stuck" in the ground an there is no trace that anyone was up there
Neil Armstrong is an american.
Neil Armstrong comes from the country called the United States of America or the U.S.A.
There are a lot of purposes, but the main purpose was to prove to the world that the United States really did "Come in peace for all mankind". At the time, some people of the world were worried that we might control the earth from space. We had to prove them wrong. We did that by turning the space race into a series of scientific expeditions. The reason Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin and the other 10 astronauts who walked on the moon left the lunar module was to help scientists back on earth discover the origin of the moon. It was thought that by finding out the moon's origin, it might shed light on how the earth came to be. In order to do that, Armstrong collected rocks while Aldrin set up 3 scientific experiments. After analyzing all the data, the scientists have yet to come up with a conclusive theory for how the moon formed.
He is from New York USA, but his nationality is Filipino
Neil Armstrong's family came from Ohio. Armstrong is famous for his career as an astronaut and his family moved quite a bit before and after he was born in Ohio.
