The most likely name on a ring with the letter L is Love
The life of a star is governed by how much mass it has and how quickly it "burns" it. A basic formula is 1exp10*(m/l) where m=Sol mass and l=Sol luminosity. So for our Sun 1exp10*(1/1) gives 10 billion years.
The relationship between luminosity and magnitude in stars is that luminosity measures the total amount of light a star emits, while magnitude measures how bright a star appears from Earth. A star's luminosity is its actual brightness, while its magnitude is its apparent brightness as seen from Earth. The lower the magnitude, the brighter the star appears, and the higher the luminosity, the more light the star emits.
A good example of a medium size star is the Sun, which is very average. Luminosity is measured by the star's absolute magnitude, which is the magnitude seen from a standard distance of ten parsecs (32.6 light-years), and the Sun's absolute magnitude is +4.7. A factor of 100 increase in luminosity corresponds to 5 magnitudes less (larger magnitudes mean dimmer stars). The brightest stars have absolute magnitudes around -7.
Caves are dark because they are deep underground, away from sources of light. Light from the sun does not penetrate deep into the earth, so once you are inside a cave, there is no natural light source to illuminate it.
An Earth orbiting a brown dwarf in the habitable zone would be tidally locked to the star. So, on the side of the Earth permanently facing away from the brown dwarf the sky would be black, with only the stars or other planets shining down. For the other side of the planet, the one permanently facing the star:- If it orbited one of the younger and hotter brown dwarfs, late M-spectral class to early L-spectral class, the Earth's sky would probably appear white with reddish-pink clouds and the brown dwarf star would look much like the Sun, dazzling white, but a lot bigger. The cooler the Brown dwarf star gets, the bigger and yellowier, orangier and then redder the star would appear in the sky. The sky and clouds would also become redder and darker until the clouds and then the sky are dark.Cooler thanaround the mid L-spectral class, sodium and potassiumin the star's atmospherecouldgive the star a faint reddish-purple hue because these elements are absorbing most of the star's emitted green light leaving a mixture of blue and red light. By mid T-spectral class the star is giving off such a small proportion of blue light that the brown dwarf loses its magenta hue and appears redwith the sky behind it now almost black. The heat on an inhabitable Earth orbiting around the coldest brown dwarfs would come from inside the planet itself, perhaps generated by tidal interaction with the star but almost no heat coming from the star's light. Therefore the sky from an Earth around the coldest brown dwarf would be much like the sky as seen from a rogue planet wandering through space by itself, without a sun. With the very coldest brown dwarfs, Y-spectral class, even the brown dwarf star itself would be invisible in the Earth's sky. It would be nothing but a big black disc obscuring some of the stars in an otherwise black sky.
L stamped inside a ring
Lustrium alloy?
I have in side a ring I brought 14k. DEL ,,what does 14k DEL mean inside my ring?
I have another one white go,d wirh diamonds ans inside the same inscription: JC 750
I think it means large? Maybe.
L. A. Ring was born in 1854.
L. A. Ring died in 1933.
not sure, I have the same symbols on my ring.. Did anyone ever answer
"L B L" on a diamond ring likely stands for "Lozenge, Brilliant, Lozenge," referring to the diamond's shape and cut. A Lozenge is a type of diamond shape with four straight edges, and "Brilliant" refers to the diamond's cut quality.
The marking "14K L-P" on a gold ring indicates that the ring is made of 14-karat gold, which means it contains 58.3% pure gold and 41.7% other metals. The "L-P" likely refers to the manufacturer or designer's initials or brand name associated with the ring. This marking helps identify the quality of the gold and the creator of the piece.
There were two colors in the J and L ring: black and silver.
A "G L R 10k gold ring" typically indicates that the ring is made of 10 karat gold, which contains 41.7% pure gold mixed with other metals for durability. The "G L R" could refer to the brand, manufacturer, or designer associated with the ring. It's important to verify the specific meaning of "G L R" as it may vary by context or brand. Overall, the ring's value and quality are primarily determined by its gold content and craftsmanship.
