Mercury has a diameter of 4,879km and a mass of 0.330x1024kg. This is 1/18 the mass and 1/3 the diameter of Earth. Compared to other planets in our solar system, Mercury is the smallest - at least now that Pluto has been demoted from planetary status.
Dear questioner, It is extremely small to all other planets in the solar system, excluding Pluto who was just given the boot! It is very close to the sun and it has NO atmsphere, so it has one extremely hot side and one extremely cold side, depending on its position. Comparing its size, I would say it is VERY VERY small. If you put it next to the sun, you wouldn't be able to see it on a scale map very easily. I hope this was helpful to you. If not, e-mail me at RichieDude93@hotmail.com Sincerely, Richie Stafford
compared to earth in km.,earth is 123,106,000 km. bigger than mercury.
it is the smallest unless you want to count pluto
Mercury is the smallest planet in size.
It has a diameter of 4,879.4 km which is 0.3829 of Earths.
See related links for a pictorial of the size differences
the earth`s moon
Visually, the moon Ganymede.
Pluto is about half the size of Mercury, which is the smallest "true" planet.
Because of Earth's size, and considering it as one of the smallest planets, it has a weak gravity compared to the OTHER planets. Most planets have greater gravity because of their size. Earth has a stronger gravity compared to mars, mercury, and venus.
No. The Moon is large compared to Earth. Almost all other moons are much smaller relative to the planets they orbit.
The Jovian planets are all much larger than Earth. See related link for a size comparison
No but the sizes of OTHER planets and planetesimals can and do.

Compared to some other planets in the same galaxy, yes; it is actually fractions of the size of other planets in this galaxy

large compared to other planets. Third largest planet in our solar system.
no, they are not because I know that 1000 earths can fit into Jupiter,93 into Saturn but 3 Mercurys into an earth.
Saturn is the second largest planet of all eight planets in our solar system.
No. The Moon is large compared to Earth. Almost all other moons are much smaller relative to the planets they orbit.
In size and mass it is enormous compared to it's parent planet - The Earth.
Planets are larger and more massive than asteroids, but very nearly the same size and mass as planets.
Mercury is, by far the smallest. Its average diameter is 4879 km compared to 6792 km for the next smallest, Mars, and compared to 142,984 km for Jupiter.
