Yes - First, you pour water into the mixture, and mix thoroughly. The sugar will dissolve into the water, but the sawdust won't. Then you get filter paper and make a cone with it (fold it into a quarter then push at the sides), then put it in a funnel and put that in a beaker/pot (depends on amount of mixture).
